Does Masturbation & Porn Hurt Relationships? Annalee Belle & D'Vita - Sex Tips - Part 4

There’s a stigma in society that it’s okay for men to masturbate and not for women.

Females can sometimes shame men for masturbating because they think they are not satisfying them enough.

Porn can create immense stimulation visually and pleasure wise, so it creates a disconnection with their partners. The brain is so stimulated at a fast-paced, that when they’re having sex with their partner they don’t get as turned on.

That can make the female partner not feel good because they don’t seem as desired by them, and thinking that her man mainly cares about porn over her.

Males can use masturbation as a way out or disconnect because of many reasons:

  • Lack of interest in the partner

  • Performance anxiety

  • Worrying about lasting long

  • Their size And many other things.

In a relationship, emotional and physical connection and intimacy is important, but when porn gets in the way of that relationship it can create problems for both sides.

At the end of the day, you have to think about what is your intention?

Are you masturbating to porn because you want to pleasure and love yourself or are you doing it as avoidance, to not intimately connect with your partner? The intention is everything, it guides you towards a specific outcome.

Intention can…

  • Be positive or negative.

  • Provide a gain or loss.

  • Lead to growth or self-sabotage.

  • Be a poison or a medicine depending on the dose and how you take it.
